Growing up in Srebrenica, Mehdin Ibisevic spent most of his time playing football with his older brother. Only 16 years old he was forced to pick up a gun to defend himself and was separated from his family and from his home. After a long and dangerous run, he was caught by the enemy and spent almost half a year in a prison camp. He escapes the war that claimed his brother and father and comes to Finland where he starts a new life. He continues playing football like he and his brother used to. But can football keep the haunting memories away? |
