Simon Niedenthal is an
associate professor in interaction design at Malmö University in the School of
Arts and Communication (K3), for which he was evaluated to have the equivalent
of a PhD based on artistic merit. His articles on light, perception, virtual
space and transdisciplinary discourses have been published in scholarly
periodicals including Leonardo, Digital Creativity, Afterimage and the Journal
of Architectural Education.
Igor Knez is an associate
professor in psychology at the department of Technology and Building
Environment at University of Gävle. He has a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from
Uppsala University. Igor's present research concerns the effects of
illumination upon emotion and behaviour, and has been published in journals
including Journal of Environmental Psychology, Environmental Behaviour and
Applied Cognitive Psychology.
Hannes Norda is a
doctoral student at Blekinge Technical University in the area of development
processes, tools and technologies for 3D games and simulations. At the master's
level, Hannes has researched and implemented an advanced technology for
visualizing light, surface and shadows in real time. His continuing studies
will focus upon the further development of this technology, and its application
within industry and artistic contexts. Hannes is also an employee of Custom
Red, a game development company.
Martin Berglund is a
lighting designer and faculty member in the 120p Stage and performance
technology education at K3. He has lit rock shows for artists including David
Bowie and Gyllene Tider, as well as many festivals. Among other courses, Martin
teaches an introduction to a CAD lighting simulation program for theatre
professionals called Wysiwyg.
Kim Nordström is a game
designer and producer at Bad Robot.
Sten Selander is project
leader for NetPort/Karlshamn, and is coordinating efforts to form a national
researcher network for game studies in Sweden.
Pontus Stalin is an
interaction design student at Malmö University in the School of Arts and
Communication (K3).
