2008

Sunandini Basu (India) has a BA from the National Institute of Design in India. Before joining the program she focused on Information Architecture, Interaction & Visual Design, and "HANDS ON Usability." She has professional experience in television, Internet, mobile services and usability

Gordon Brown (Canada) is completing a BSC in Interactive Arts and Technology from Simon Fraser University of Vancouver, he is currently in the exchange program at the Masters Program of Interaction Design at Malmo University for one semester.

Thierry Giles (Canada) has a Bachelor in Design and Computation Arts from Concordia University, Montreal, and has studied Media Architecture and Interface Design at the Bauhaus University, Weimar, Germany. He has published two short papers at the ACM Multimedia 2007, and has worked as interaction designer in the Web industry.

Matthew Goble (USA) Bachelor in Graphic Design from Iowa State University and five years of AD for an advertising agency.

Rob Nero (USA) received a bachelors in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, USA, with independent studies in usability and information design. Has worked in corporate environments designing web applications, and photographed professionally. Rob intends to focus his studies at K3 on wearable technology and gestural interfaces.

Anders Patrick Jorgensen (Denmark) has a BSc in Business Development Engineer and MSc Technology Based Business Development from Aarhus University, Institute of Business and Technology.

Ulrike Kindermann (Germany)

Suzanna Kourmouli (Sweden) has a BA in Interaction Design from Malmö Högskola in Sweden.

Åste Laberg (Norway) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kunstakademiets in Trondheim.

Katrin Lütkemöller (Germany) studied Interface Design at the Potsdam Fachhochschule (Berlin).

Laurens Mendes (South Africa) has a national diploma in porduct design, from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. He is now sudieng as an exchange student in K3 IDM but is finishing of his batchelors in industrial design in Cape Town.

Aaron Mullane (Australia) holds a Bachelor in Information Systems with Honours in Interaction Design (IxD) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He has published several short papers and commenced a PhD in IxD before gaining professional experience in various IxD based projects and several years in the Management Consultancy industry touching on business analyst, project management and strategic management.

Adam Politanski (Sweden) has a BA in Interaction Design from Malmö Högskola in Sweden.

Katrin Riemann (Germany) - Information and technology in Lubeck, Germany.

Frederike Rudelbach (Germany) - Information and technology in Lubeck, Germany.

Sebi Tauciuc (Romania) has a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Al. I. Cuza University, in Romania. Before joining K3, he worked in the industry for two years, including 2 internships at Nokia Research Center, in Helsinki. He has a strong interest in service design and sustainability.

2007

Amanda Hall (Canada) completed her BSc in Interactive Arts at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

Henrik Svarrer Larsen (Denmark) has after his B(Ed) studied Material Culture & Learning at DPU and Interaction Design at ITU. His fascination of transparencies, subtle interaction and sensory experience derives from years of glass-making as well as teaching Art & Crafts. Currently he works on multi-sensory digital artefacts for rehabilitation inspired by biology and building on OT knowledge.

2006

Roger Anderson (Sweden) has an M. Sc. in Cognitive Science from Umeå University in Sweden. Before joining the program he worked with web editing and web design within the travel industry. He has a broad interest in user-centred design with specific emphasis mobile applications and the social sides of interactive technology.

Marika Bredler (Sweden) has graduated from Malmö Art Academy, and then studied at Rijk- sakademien in Amsterdam, Holland. She works mostly with conceptual art and is involved in running the gallery Wuthering Heights in Malmö, Sweden.

Freddie Eksteen (South Africa) has a National Diploma in 3D-design (product design) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa.

Helge Fischer (Germany) is studying at the University of the Arts, Bremen, within the undergraduate Digital Media program, but currently he has joined the program as an exchange student.

Christo Goosen (South Africa) has studied electrical engineering at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. After that a National Diploma in 3D-design and a B.Tech in industrial design, both from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town.

Neda Hajmomeni (Iran) has a BA in Industrial Design from Iran and has also worked in the field of interior design (R&D) for two years.

James Haliburton (Canada) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media from Ryerson University, Toronto, and has also worked with web design and graphic design. He has also worked as an English teacher in South Korea for a few years.

Christian Henriksson (Sweden) has a bachelor degree in Media Informatics from Högskolan i Kristianstad, Sweden.

Nixi Kennedy (South Africa) has a National Diploma in 3D-design (product design) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town.

Mey Lean Kronemann (Germany) is studying Interface Design at Fachhochschule Potsdam in Germany, but has joined the program as an exchange student.

Kuan Ting “Phoebe” Liu (Taiwan) Phoebe has a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, and M. Sc. in School of Information focusing on HCI and Usability at UC, Berkeley, United States. She has also worked as a user interface designer for three years.

Azadeh Mohamadi (Iran/Sweden) has a bachelor's degree in Graphic design from the Fine Art University in Iran (Tehran). She has also worked as a freelance Graphic/Web designer. She has been in Sweden since 2003 studying at IMER Malmö University, and web development at TS Malmö University (distance course).

Luke Pedersen (South Africa) has studied interior design at Port Elizabeth Technikon in South Africa. He also has a National Diploma in 3D-design (product design) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town. Previously he has designed a gas powered indoor heater for home use with a specific focus on the South African context.

Edda Kristin Sigurjonsdottir (Iceland) has a background in applied arts and interior design from Edinburgh College of Art. She has also studied at Danmarks Designskole.

Yujuan “Shirley” Zou (China) has studied multimedia design at Odense Technical College, and Medialogy at Aalborg University, both in Denmark.


2005

Robin Butler
has a Bachelor's degree in media informatics from Kristianstad University , specializing in interactive media.

Pontus Friberg has a degree in performing arts technology from K3 and has previously worked as a sound and light technician. His aim is to work with the interaction between user and technology at stage productions.

Emily Hang Andersson has a Master's degree in computer science at Lund University , and has also worked for a few years as a system developer, specializing in user interfaces. To her, interaction design seemed like a natural and exciting addition.

Johanna Holmstedt has a background as an illustrator and has lived in England for the last twelve years.

Anna Jakobsson graduated in informatics (specializing in interactive media) at Kristianstad University . Her interest in interaction design gradually increased during her years of study. Since she wanted to specialize in this subject area, she applied to K3. Anna has previously been a bank clerk, working with economy support and marketing.

Linda Knudsen has studied informatics in Halmstad.

Anders Leander has studied for 3 years on the program of media informatics in Kristianstad, where he mainly gained proficiency in human-computer interaction, as well as graphic design. He is known to take good photos when required. At the faculty of interaction design he hopes to put his knowledge into practice through working with real projects .

Dijana Mijatovic has an artistic background.

Jonas Rygaard is this year's Danish contribution. His background is in the humanities and subject matters such as pedagogy and performance art.

Igor Vitorimov has a background as a photographer , but enjoys constant self-improvement through the study of various fascinating subjects at university

Jonas Östergren is the fourth member of this class to have studied the program of media informatics at Kristianstad University , where he chose to concentrate on interactive media . Since he wished to specialize in a topical and interesting subject - such as interaction design - h e applied for the Master's program. Jonas chose this course for its practical focus.
