SLATE “SLATE” is a camera enabled mobile phone application. It makes use of the camera to act as an extra input field to assist the user as a translation application. The intended focus is primarily on translation of common phrases and language learning within everyday situations. The concept combines techniques of foreign language learning models with QR code technology to compose a system or service, which is easily accessible, mobile and serves as personalized, on-the-spot language learning application for mobile users. |
