My research focus has moved from technical human-computer interaction and user-interface management systems to usability-oriented systems development and, from 1995, interaction design practice and theory. The main research areas in the last ten years have been crossmedia and participatory media, interactive visualization and interaction design theory.

This page is a list of activities within the academic community and oriented towards the academic community: academic leadership, expert appointments, academic awards, formal international collaboration, administrative appointments and acquired research grants.

My scientific publications are listed on the publication page.
