Context: Location-aware computing can be used to support navigation and other types of assistance for the visually impaired.
Description: A robot dog such as an Aibo is equipped with assistive-guidance software and an appropriate handle.
Interesting: Robot dogs may be an interesting alternative to interactive blind-man's canes. And of course it can have wheels instead of legs for more robust walking performance on smooth surfaces.
