Context: Storing and sharing digital material of a leisurely nature.
Description: Disposable memory sticks made of simple materials such as cardboard, encouraging a less respectful approach to the storage device. Browsing a memory flake is done by placing it in a bowl connected to a computer.
Interesting: Making the physical qualities of the storage device match its not-so-important contents and its lightweight and casual use.
Inspired by: Miscellaneous work in tangible interfaces.
Date: May 2005.
