The motor board is a circuit board that was developed under the brief of creating a hardware plug-in to the wiring board that could be used in the creation of force-feedback rotary knobs. This motor board can control two different DC motors and their respective encoders. It also offers two small pushbuttons on board so that it is possible to program functions that include the use of those The circuit board has been designed as a physical add-on to the original design by Hernando Barragan, the so-called Wiring board. It can be connected directly on top of the wiring board and doesn't need to be powered for controlling the logics of it. However, it needs to get an extra power connector in order to plug the motors. Usually motors need a higher amount of voltage and current than the logics in order to function properly |
